Wild Thing

Saw the film adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are this past weekend and I highly recommend it. The story of a boy struggling with his inner demons which then manifest themselves into real "Wild Things" which he tries to control is fantastic. Certainly this is a film that goes deeper than the surface. It masquerades as a children s story but it is most certainly one that is meant for adults. Dave Eggers wrote the screenplay as well as a novel based on the picture book. I bought a collectors item copy which has a furry cover. May be a fun project to create alternative book covers. I would be interested to hear your comments about the movie.
